Put down
the broom of shame
you keep sweeping
yourself with.

There is no version
of you
that is almost enough,
only this one —
breathing, being,
still becoming.

You may see
the cracks in the pottery
as flaws,
but what if they are
all the ways
light finds its way in.

You are allowed to be unfinished
and still be whole.
